The National Institute of Fashion Technology setup in 1986 by the Ministry of textiles Government of India is a statutory institution by virtue of an Act 2006 of the Indian parliament with the President of India as visitor in NIFT as 17 professionally managed full-fledged campus including 183 Nagar and Jammu and Kashmir in IIFT.
Srinagar invites applications through online mode for the following groups vacancies and direct recruitment on long-term contract basis for a period of three years with provision for regularization subsequently subject to eligibility and as per NIFT policy.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
STENOGRAPHER GRADE 3
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION graduate from a recognised University and minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 word per minute in typing find minimum 2 years of experience in government sector and proficiency in computer operation age limit 27 years maximum age limit for NIFT employees may be relaxed up to 5 years total length of service rendered whichever is less.
ASSISTANT
Educational qualifications bachelor degree in commerce from recognised University institution with 2 years experience in finance and accounts working knowledge of accounting software its limit 27 years assistant.
WARDEN
Educational qualification graduate from recognised University institution one year experience as assistant Warden in an educational institution under Central Government State Government autonomous bodies.
Age limit 27 years
LIBRARY ASSISTANT
Educational qualification graduate from recognised University with diploma in library science at least one year working experience in a well-established library age limit 27 years
JUNIOR ASSISTANT
Educational qualification intermediate from a board or its equivalent recognised by the government a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English 25 word per minute in Hindi computer proficiency its limit 27 years.
LAB ASSISTANT
Educational qualification inter fast age limit 27 years driver educational qualification 88 10th class pass from a board of its equivalent recognised by the government should have at least 2 years experience in driving light heavy motor vehicle and also having the licence age limit 27 years.
MULTI TASKING STAFF
Educational qualification part 2 10th class from a boat or its equivalent recognised by the government age limit 27 years age relaxation in age relaxation in 28 limit.
To reserved candidates shall be provided as per standard Government of India rules centre of examination the NIFT Srinagar shall notify the venue of examination separately no representation request for change in this regard Shall by entertained.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION the selection of the candidates will be purely on merit list the merit list will be drawn on the basis of written test consists of multiple Choice Based Questions and skill test.
